About Us
Summary:
Using unique events and
private venues, Silicon Valley Executive Network (SVEN)
is a private Human Network providing
a forum for
thought leadership around emerging technologies in a relaxed environment, while concurrently
enabling
business development and relationships for senior high-tech executives,
venture capitalists, and key technologists who make up the core DNA of
the tech ecosystem. We also act as an accelerator for early stage high tech entrepreneurial teams, as well as a trusted advisory group for some of the top companies in the high tech ecosystem.
What & Who We Are:
- A private, invitation-only organization
- We currently have 200+ executives in our group...and growing organically
- Our member profile is the core DNA of the tech ecosystem:
- CxO/VP level high tech corporate
execs with extensive executive-level business & technology domain expertise from public &
venture backed companies in core roles
such as Engineering, Product Mktg, Sales, Business Development, etc.
- Although
our our core members are mostly traditional IT/Tech, we are branching
out and expanding our membership to HealthTech/Biotech, Cleantech, and
Digital Media & Entertainment

Our Goals:
- Enable the creation of new
business relationships, and enhance existing ones by cross pollenating
the core elements of the tech ecosystem through premium golf
experiences, unique venues, and exclusive corporate technology & business
discussions
- Enable
information sharing of deep domain expertise by harnessing the
intellectual capital among members around key areas of business and
technology topics
- Link
opportunities within the core elements of the group (Tech execs,
venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and technology companies)
- Be a "connector" and "accelerator" for our members and strategic partners
Our Events:
- 14-16 events are on our "Executive Tour" for 2010, comprised of the following:
- We host 7-8 premium/private
golf outings at very exclusive venues with 24-28 executives per event, including a 90 minute interactive
business/technology discussion before or after golf, and ample time to
socialize and network with peer level executives
- Behind
the scenes visits to key Silicon Valley companies, hosted
by various technology firms such as Cisco, Oracle, Intel, HP, Google,
IBM, SAP, Adobe,
and related entities...we are typically invited by senior executives of
the hosting company for mutually beneficial and very
interactive discussions on a variety of broad reaching themes that
provide the hosting company significant feedback in a "trusted advisor"
environment, which often leads to multiple follow on smaller business
discussions.
- We hold an annual tech summit with a variety of discussions of relevance to the technology ecosystem.
- We put on a small number of overnight golf trips to
locations such as Pebble Beach and Cordevalle or multi-day golf trips
to premium resort locations such as Bandon Dunes, Scottsdale, Lake
Tahoe, and more
